How To Get Started
As a freelancer,
Firstly, start by registering yourself on the portal. Click on the verification link sent on your email to complete your profile. Once you register yourself, you will be redirected to a unique dashboard wherein, you will have to fill in the necessary details and complete your profile. While filling in your details, remember to correctly fill the fields based on your skills and capabilities. Once you have completed your profile and have acquired the 100% profile health, you can start looking for clients as well as your profile will be visible to clients looking to hire freelancers. You can look out and apply for the latest job posting or you can also connect with employers directly using the message/inbox feature. Both these recruitment methods are equally effective while searching for projects or companies.

Q1. How can I register as a freelancer?
As a freelancer, you have to go to the top right corner of the page. There you will find an option named “Join Now”. Click on ‘Join Now’ and start by filling the registration form. Select the ‘Freelancer’ option. After reading the T&C, tick the box and hit submit. You will receive a confirmation email. Upon confirmation, you will be successfully registered on the portal.

Q2. How can I get verified as a freelancer?
Once you have completed the registration process, you will be redirected to a dashboard. Fill in all your details mentioned in order to complete your profile. As and when you complete your profile, your profile health % will continue to increase. Recruiters often lookout for freelancers with a 100 % profile health.

Q3. Can I post multiple services as a freelancer?
Yes, if you are a freelancer offering multiple services, you can definitely post more than one service based on your skills. To do so, head over to your dashboard and click on post a service.
Searching For Projects/Jobs
Registering will provide you a dedicated dashboard as well as unlock multiple features for your account. The dashboard is extremely user-friendly, easy to use, and simple to understand.

Q1. Can I save jobs/ employers for future reference?
Yes, you can. Once you are on the profile of a particular employer, you can click the ‘follow’ button. For jobs, simply select the heart button that says ‘save’ To view your saved/shortlisted candidates, simply go to your dashboard, and click ‘View Saved Items’

Q2. How can I track my projects once I’m hired as a freelancer?
To track a particular project, head over to your dashboard and select manage projects. Under ‘manage projects’ you will get complete details of all the project you undertake.

Q3. How do I get featured as a “top freelancer” on this portal?
There are multiple ranking criteria’s that are taken into consideration. For basics, have a 100% profile heath, keep your profile very professional and try to get as much rating as possible. For this, you will have to work with multiple clients and deliver projects with honesty and professionalism.

Q1. Do I get an option to choose an employer or company according to my location?
Of course. While searching for job openings or employers, you can either use the filter menu on the left side to narrow down your search by using the ‘location’ filter option.

Q2. How do I get paid as a freelancer?
Once you have been shortlisted by an employer, you can use the inbox/message feature to discuss the project delivery, scope of work, salary/costing, etc. My Part Time Jobs does not have a payment gateway nor do we look after payments. You can directly coordinate with your employer and decide on a payment medium convenient for both parties.

Once the employer has selected you, you can use the inbox feature available on your dashboard to chat with your potential employer and based on their company policy, they will look after the entire recruitment process.
