A freelancer is an independent, self-employed person who offers services for companies and individuals. A freelancer can work for one or multiple companies, depending on the amount of work, the freelancer’s capacity, and the time necessary to do the work. Whenever a freelancer takes up a project from an individual or company based on his/her skills it’s called freelancing.

Q3. What is the meaning of full-time and part-time jobs?
Firstly, depending on the company, the above line can differ. As the name suggests, full-time meaning employees are expected to work somewhere between 32 and 40 hours per week. However, in part-time jobs employees are expected to work no more than 35 hours per week, and maybe as few as 5-10 hours.

Q4. How do I become a freelancer or employer on My Part Time Jobs?
Once you are on the homepage, there is the option named “Join Now”. Click on ‘Join Now’ and a pop-up form will open before you. Start by filling in your complete details. If you are a freelancer, select the freelancer option. If you are an employer, select the employer option and fill in your company details. After reading the T&C, tick the box and hit submit. You will receive a verification email. Verify your profile by clicking on the link sent on your registered email if. Upon confirmation, you will be successfully registered on the portal.

Q5. How are freelancers paid? Or How should employers pay?
My Part Time Jobs is only a portal that bridges the gap between business owners and job seeks. We do not have any registration fees nor do we charge for anything. Once a freelancer and employer get connected via a chat feature, they can discuss the project and the payment is directly managed between the freelancer and the employer. We do not intervene in the middle at any point.

As part of our company’s policy, our mission is to provide employment opportunities and bridge the gap between business owners and job seeks. We do not possess a payment gateway portal and hence, we do not guarantee your payments.
